Legacy Sealed. First 6A Banner Raised. By FAB44TV Insider
From the very first practice, Coach A demanded one thing from his team: Excellence.
When the final buzzer echoed through Bank OZK Arena and the scoreboard read Bryant 69 – Springdale 59, the celebration wasn’t just about a win it was about history.
For the first time in the Mike Abrahmson era, the Bryant Hornets are Arkansas Class 6A Boys State Champions.
They battled. They believed. And they built something Bryant had never seen before.
The Moment
Senior guard Kellen Robinson, a 2 year floor general for the Hornets, stood at center court, arms raised as the crowd erupted. He had just dropped 25 points, orchestrated the offense with veteran poise, and sealed the biggest win in Bryant basketball history.
But this moment was bigger than a box score, it was about legacy.
Kellen became the third Robinson brother to win a high school state title in Arkansas. The youngest of a championship lineage, he grew up watching banners go up and now, he raised one of his own.
“We didn’t care about the past. We came to build something new,” Robinson said, gripping the MVP plaque. “This is for every Bryant kid who ever dreamed about a title. We brought it home. And for me, it’s personal I’ve watched my brothers do this. Now it’s my turn to lead the way.”
Future Locked In
With his high school career complete, Robinson is headed to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) the same program where his older brother once captured a conference championship.
I am officially counting down the days until @Krob_one4 teams up with @onekrob2 next year at @LittleRockMBB.

“We brought it home,” he said, smiling through the emotion. “And now it’s time to keep building. I’ve seen what it looks like to win in college and I’m ready to chase that too.”
The Hornets’ 2025 title may be history but Kellen Robinson’s legacy is just getting started.

How They Built It
Under Head Coach Mike Abrahamson, the Hornets rewrote their story.
They started 2–5. They were doubted, overlooked, and underestimated. But they stuck together leaning on defense, discipline, and a belief that the best was yet to come.
Bryant’s playoff run included back-to-back wins over Top 10 teams and a gutsy semifinal victory against Bentonville. By the time they reached Springdale Har-Ber, they weren’t just playing basketball they were playing for history.
“We weren’t the flashiest team,” said Abrahamson. “But we were the most connected. And that’s why we’re champions.”
